Guy fawkes night

Guy Fawkes night or more commonly known as bonfire night, is a British public celebration which happens annually on the 5th of November. The story is an interesting one….. back in 1605 when a man called guy fawkes set out to blow up the Houses of Parliament and it was given the name the “gunpowder plot” he failed his mission and now the 5th of November marks the day that he failed. On the night of the 5th each year we have fireworks everywhere in England and light a massive bonfire in celebration(sometimes people build life sized statues of Mr Fawkes and he is burned along with everything else in the bonfire)
