American Mardi Gras

When I lived in Louisiana, I ALWAYS looked forward to Mardi Gras! Louisiana is the only state in the U.S that officially celebrates it as a holiday, with a whole WEEK off of school (as it used to be a French colony). Every year, that week is full of so much color, life, and joy.
