Walks by the lakeside

My family has been walking the same lakeside since we moved into the area. We walk along the paved areas and then venture into the forest to hang out by the peaceful waterside until the mosquitoes get too bad. I spent many summers building forts in and around the trees as a kid with my siblings and friends. Being on and around our many, many bodies of fresh water is a big part of Canadian culture, whether that's rivers, ponds, lakes, the Great Lakes, or the oceans.
