World Music Day, Toulouse
On June 21th, France explodes with music ! Especially in big cities, people go out to play music or sing and dance in the streets. Despite the massive heatwave, the Toulousians can't help but enjoy this occasion ! The town center is packed, and there are professional or amateur music groups, brass bands and DJ sets every 30 meters. The music is so loud everywhere that people give up on trying to sleep and prefer having a drink and dancing with people, even though they have to work the next day.Picture 1 features Place Saint-Pierre (St. Peter Square), a place that's very famous for its bars and nightclubs, and as you can see, the clubbing took place outside ! Picture 2 shows the quays bordering the Garonne river, downstairs the Square. This was one of the least crowded place in town for the night, less musicians, less people, only chill vibes.
