Vine Street (18th and Vine)

18th and Vine is a historic part of downtown Kansas City known as the cradle of jazz music. Many famous jazz musicians, such as Charlie Parker and Count Basie got their careers started in this very city. This illustrious street also has it's own jazz album, Kansas City Suite, aptly named after it along with its own song Vine Street Rumble. This street also houses the Negro League Baseball Museum, Gem Theater, and the famous Blue Room jazz club
