Canadian Tulip Festival

Every year, thousands of tulips are sent from the Netherlands to Ottawa to honor the Canadian troops who helped liberate the Netherlands in WWII and the birth of Princess Margriet. The number of tulips sent is even reaching the millions and is a beautiful sight to behold. People from all over Canada travel to come see the tulips, and it's one of the biggest events in Ottawa that brings people together.
