Seven Virgin Hills - Tyre of the crashed plane - ️ A tragic historical connectionThe Seven Virgins are also associated with one of Sri Lanka's worst aviation disasters. On 4 December 1974, Martinair Flight 138, carrying Indonesian pilgrims travelling toward Mecca, crashed into the fifth peak of Saptha Kanya. All 191 people aboard died.
