Chimarrão

This is very common where I live (south of Brazil), and I drink it every day. It's made by putting yerba mate (erva-mate) into a gourd, adding hot water, and drinking it through a metal straw called a bomba. The water is added little by little, and the same leaves are shared and refilled several times.
