Winter lights countdown

1st of December is Romania's National Day. On this day festive lights for Christmas and New Year's Eve are set up, and at around 6pm-7pm people gather in a huge group in their city's centre for the big countdown. At the end of the countdown, the lights are lit and celebrations for the whole season can begin!
