One of the things I find most beautiful about Sri Lankan culture is how our traditional arts are still alive today. This photograph, which I took myself, shows a Kandyan dancer wearing a traditional costume.Kandyan dance is one of the best-known traditional dance forms in Sri Lanka. It is often performed with rhythmic drumming, colourful costumes, and energetic movements. For me, it is always fascinating to see how much history and tradition can be expressed through a performance.As someone who loves art and photography, I enjoy capturing moments like this. A photograph can never fully capture the sound of the drums or the energy of the dance, but I hope this small moment gives you a little glimpse of Sri Lankan culture through my eyes.
