Fast vergessene Zeiten

A small, old church where communion was celebrated. Communion was conducted around the altar. On one side were the wafers, then the congregation moved behind the altar to the other side, where the wine was served. The entire altarpiece is dedicated to the Last Supper. This small village church is hardly used today. Even the local residents themselves barely remember that communion was celebrated in this way.
