Kandy Esala Perahera

The Kandy Esala Perahera is one of Sri Lanka’s most famous cultural and religious festivals. It is held annually in Kandy in honour of the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha. The grand procession features beautifully decorated elephants, traditional dancers, drummers, fire performers, and many other cultural traditions.
