Brötchen holen

Many stereotypes about Germans are generally too dramatic or mostly relate to Bavaria. The one thing I would agree with is our love for bread. We have a large variety and a classic middle class family will go to a bakery on sunday morning, to get Brötchen. For many German children it's the first purchase they do on their own Brötchen come in various types, shapes and sizes and don't have a real equivalent in other cultures (as far as I know). Most Germans have a preferred type of Brötchen, which is then eaten with jam, cheese or anything you like for breakfast.
