A Glimpse of Granada’s Religious Heritage

This photograph was taken inside a beautiful church in Granada, the city where I come from. Catholicism has been an important part of Spanish culture and history for centuries, and churches are still an important part of Spain’s cultural heritage.I especially like how richly decorated this church is, with sculptures, paintings, ornaments and a large altar. Religious traditions are also present in celebrations such as Semana Santa, when processions take place in cities like Granada. For me, this photograph represents an important part of Granada’s history and culture. I chose this place because it reminds me of the beauty and history of the city where I grew up.
