Pirulitão a.k.a Big Lollipop

Pirulitão a.k.a Big Lollipop - 7th Square's Obelisk - Belo Horizonte/ Minas Gerais - BrazilIt's an obelisk created to celebrate the 100 years of Brazil's independence, a donation from another city drawn by Antônio Rego and built by Antônio Gonçalves Gravatá. Most people don't actually remember/know what the obelisk is, hence the nickname 'Big Lollipop', but it stays in the middle of the comercial center in Belo Horizonte, working as a famous reference point for tourists or pretty much anyone who needs to localize themselves downtown. Which is very useful since getting lost is Belo Horizonte is really easy!
