Sunday Roast

A Sunday roast is a typical traditional British weekly meal, whilst any meat could be chosen, chicken is the usual choice because it's quicker & cheaper. The meat is accompanied with oven roasted potatoes, carrots, cabbage & other assorted vegetables & topped with gravy. People would go to church in the morning & then the family would sit down together to enjoy the meal, sometimes it would be only time that week! so it became an important family time.
