Fika (pronounced "feek-ah")

Sweden is very big on the fika tradition. Fika is about sitting down during the day with colleagues, friends or family to have a coffee or a pastry. Some workplaces have a scheduled time for that - once in the morning and once in the afternoon. It can be done at home, at work, at a café. It's not just a tradition to eat or drink, but rather about pausing, connecting, and recharging your batteries with people.
