Mysuru Dasara festival

Mysore Dasara is a spectacular 10-day grand festival celebrated annually in September or October in the heritage city of Mysuru, India. Recognised as the official state festival (Nadahabba) of Karnataka, it honours the Goddess Chamundeshwari and commemorates her legendary victory over the buffalo-demon Mahishasura, symbolizing the universal triumph of good over evil.
