Lütje Lage

Lütje Lage is a traditional drink from Hannover, Germany, and a local speciality with a rather unusual drinking ritual. It consists of two drinks: a small glass of Lüttje-Lagen-Bier (a special, low-alcohol beer) and a tiny glass of Korn (a clear grain spirit). The trick is to hold both glasses together and drink them simultaneously, with the Korn glass positioned above the beer glass. Sounds easy, but mastering the technique without spilling everything is part of the fun!Lütje Lage is especially popular at festivals, fairs and the famous Hannover Schützenfest. It's a beloved piece of local culture and an example one of Hannover's traditions.
