Plants and flowers on deck

We enjoy spending time doing a little container gardening and feeding the birds, the squirrels help themselves. The Summer is hot and muggy but Spring and Fall are more enjoyable. Fall is my favorite time of year and occasionally can take a trip to the Sothern Appalachian Mountains this time of year. The smell of boiling peanuts along roadside stands are part of the fun in the mountains. Large areas have been preserved from development and I love to drive thru and see nothing but nature.
