Celebrating New Year

Every New Year, my mum, dad, and little sister and I travel up to Yorkshire, the northern part of England, to see in the new year with family who live away from home. We begin by eating a roast dinner and playing games with the family such as Mr and Mrs, a game where partners test their knowledge of each other. It’s very funny! We have desserts and then count down to the hours on the television. When it reaches midnight we stand in a circle and sing Auld Lang Syne, watching the London fireworks on the Television and celebrating with champagne.
