I like discussing books, film, exceptional TV, art, history, philosophy, science, music, vegetable gardening, cooking, cats, nature. In the first 8 categories I'm afraid I'm a snob but cats and nature get a free pass. In art and conversation I'm a fan of originality and rigor, be it intellectual or aesthetic. But I'm also cool to small talk about cat behavior or what you're growing in your garden or what you're cooking. Therein lie the real mysteries anyway.

I don't have kids and I am still trying to "figure it all out." I'm a small-time touring musician so perhaps we can meet one day.
