The interest of a Canadian friend is what appeals to me. I am myself broad in my range of curiosity of others, but mostly I like thoughtful and introspective types, people who think about the world and what is happening and who like to develop a certain approach to life through expertise in one or more disciplines. I am quiet, funny, imaginative and a little odd. I love languages and writing but also animals, martial arts and unique and original perspectives on religion and society. I don't do an enormous number of things during my day. Typically, I get up early and write for a long time.
