I work full time as a scientist and academic, so I spend a lot of my professional life in front of a computer. As a result, I like to spend as much of my spare time outdoors, walking, running (slowly) and enjoying coffee with my book- essentially, as far away from a computer as possible. I have 2 cats and a small, close-knit family that I like to spend time with, particularly my nieces. I am an avid travelling and am planning a big trip to Galápagos Islands for Christmas 2025
