I mainly want to improve my french while I help you with english/ mandarin! I enjoy classical music and some older pop/rock, though I am curious about punk and jazz too. I am randomly interested in eg ecology, linguistics, Age of Sail etc. I read a lot, mostly speculative fiction (lots of (old) science fiction, less historical fiction and fantasy) and a smattering of non-fiction. I recently acquired more free time and look forward to trying out ice skating, birdwatching and songwriting before starting (probably) a math and computer science course.
