I adore the outdoors, and am happiest when after a long hot day's hike, I plunge into a cool mountain stream. If I am not to be found in the mountains then I am somewhere in a town, either looking at something, eating something, buying something, sitting reading, drinking good red wine, watching actors, listening to live music, or just general people watching. My overriding philosophy is to be kind, with a stoic twist. Kindness to others appears to be waning and we should all do much more about it.
