In a world of stress & tumult, I am longing to connect peacefully & intelligently with women who value ideas, beauty, & good conversation. I work full time (clerical government job) & also write a history column for the local newspaper. I like reading, hiking, gardening, music, writing, cooking. I like to study food history, food preservation, traditional skills & crafts. I've been taking fiddle lessons since 2021. I'm in the early phases of learning watercolor, amateur radio, math, electronics, & chess. I've also enjoyed needlework, astronomy, & collecting 19th century children's literature.
