I was born in Brownsville, Texas, USA, and grew up in Matamoros, Mexico, so I feel deeply connected to both cultures. I’m bilingual, raised speaking Spanish (norteño Mexican dialect), and later earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English. I'm casual and relaxed, but can also be very thoughtful and serious. I love Latin American culture and now enjoy life in the U.S. with my husband and two children. I enjoy family time, crafting, bargain hunting, Disney Dreamlight Valley, binge-watching TV, and reading Jane Austen, Harry Potter, Hemingway, and various short stories.
