I'm an ESL teacher from the USA in Costa Rica. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading and writing poems and short stories, photography, being outside in nature with wildlife, having deep conversations with friends that often fall into politics and philosophy. I care about social issues, particularly LGBTQ+ rights. Right now my main interests are in war photojournalism, tropical wildlife and conservation, teaching strategies for ESL students, and going analog (minimizing reliance on technology)! :) I am also a lover of emoticons
