I’m a teacher and high school librarian who loves museums, history, and a good sense of humor. I’m interested in what makes the world go round and tend to think analytically. For example, just this morning someone mentioned feeling awkward saying hello to strangers. I find that interesting because in some cultures greeting strangers is expected, while in others it’s considered odd. In a place like Los Angeles, where so many customs overlap, what feels like awkwardness or shyness may simply be different cultural expectations about how to interact.
