My friends would likely say I'm quiet and practical? I adore good stories, whether books, film, TV or theatre - or peoples' stories! I particularly like science fiction and fantasy, but I do read and watch a range of things. I like to cook and explore recipes from all over the world, and historical cooking too. I've travelled quite widely across Europe but, so far, not much outside it. I love history, museums, architecture and art (though the latter two more from a layman's perspective). I'm also an avid gamer, intermediate archer and paint miniatures too - and have 5 pet chickens!
