I’m a retired teacher who taught immigrants how to speak English. I’m always looking for a way to exercise this muscle but here in South Carolina (read: conservative) there hasn’t been much luck. I read a lot. I watercolor (not well, but that’s ok). I am a Christian, but I cannot bear Christian Nationalism and Evangelicalism. I have a rich interior life (that’s my excuse for not having a rich outer life!! Also, I had a stroke in 2018, and had to learn how to speak, write, walk and write again, so I’m tough.
