I spend a lot of time collecting small beautiful things: old books with strange inscriptions, good typography, overheard conversations, recipes written on index cards, odd bits of regional folklore. I work in design and strategy, which mostly means I stare at details until they confess something useful. I like museums, thrift stores, forests, handwritten letters, and people who can talk passionately about niche subjects for far too long.I’m drawn to old-fashioned correspondence because modern communication often feels like being pelted with confetti by a machine.
