I am a wife and mother of two children - a daughter in college and a son in high school. I am a secondary teacher of the intellectually gifted. I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, crafting (although I'm not the most artistic), arranging flowers, and traveling. Some of my very favorite things to do are exploring the architecture and culture of a new city with my family, cooking a delicious meal and hosting a group of friends in our garden, paper crafting with my sister, or just simply curling up in my comfy chair in front of the fireplace with a cup of coffee and a good book.
