I’m a strong-willed, and independent-minded individual with a love for the unconventional. I cherish my freedom. I believe respect - for the other’s principles, emotions, space, time, judgment, taste & privacy – is the greatest gift you can accord in any relation. I also believe that inhibiting the mind is the greatest sin imaginable and yet only those without any strong viewpoints can afford to be truly liberal. I hold that spirituality is connecting with your soul while divinity is naught but humanity at its best. I love dreaming and planning for the future… debates and chat sessions… music… getting drenched in the rain... imagining shapes in the white fleeces of cloud floating across the blue firmament in autumn... watching the sky go orange from yellow to crimson to azure at sunset... counting stars in the clear night sky... observing the spirals of dust in a pencil of sunrays in winter... snuggling up to my mom... shopping... visiting the book fair... the smell of books, old & new... coffee... damp earth... fresh paint... tandoori kebab... I hate ignorance & intolerance; cliché, routine and monotony; and people with no self esteem, vanity and worst of all - vendetta. I suffer a lot from procrastination, escapism, immaturity, complacency, lack of tenacity and self control, excessive detachment, an inclination to retreat from life and society. I'm afraid of death and hate that the universe has to inevitably come to an end. I dream of universal recognition of the brotherhood of man. I’m fascinated by the unity in diversity within the human species; - how different we are in terms of beliefs, culture, heritage, traditions, history, political scenario, cuisine, currency, etiquette, language, etc... & yet how similar in our everyday emotions like happiness & sorrow; love & hatred; pride & prejudices; hopes & disappointments; laughter & tears; dreams, passions & endeavours; in our eccentricities & indulgences; in our clamour for peace and a better life style; in fighting for what we believe in... I'm yet to figure out my aim in life.
