I work in tech, but my hands are happiest making things: Woodworking and carpentry, knitting and crochet, jewellery, 3D printing and modelling, laser engraving, scrapbooking. Away from the workbench I follow politics and geopolitics, like thinking about how people see the world, cook, swim, read a lot, and pick up new skills whenever I can. I do professional landscape photography, with a serious soft spot for astrophotography.I've travelled the world solo, and a few years ago I discovered sailing. Now I spend three to five months a year on a boat anywhere on the planet.
