I was born and grew up in South Africa of English parents, but am currently living and working in Sweden doing my doctorate at Lund University in geology. I like to think I'm an intelligent, passionate and ambitious person. But I also believe I am sincere, down to Earth and easy going. Being a scientist, I am inquisitive, and have a lot of different interests. I really enjoy deep meaningful conversations in good company. I'm quite adventurous, I love traveling and the outdoors; but climbing mountains is my passion. I am interested in history, culture, the Earth, the planets and the environment, as well as the usual things we all like to enjoy, going out friends, listening to music or seeing a movie, and I like to cook!
