I enjoy a wander through forests, old churches, cemeteries, folklore, herbalism, architecture, mythology, and the quiet traditions that survive because someone remembered to pass them on. Especially when they stop making sense in a new modern world, but persist anyway. I like reading, writing, gardening, creating, and learning. Though I'm not particularly good at any of those. My ancestors come from the Carpathians. I have an innate fear of my mailbox; it always seems to be full of anxiety. But I think a letter fills it with a bit of magic.
