I was born and raised a military brat and ended up marrying into the military. I have a stepson and 7 cats. Yes, I am a cat person. I enjoy reading and writing (I've kept a journal since I was a teenager). I like hiking and taking long walks. I can spend hours at a museum or an art or thift store just looking and musing. I enjoy listening to all kinds of music, though my favorite are country, blues and jazz. I'm learning to play classical music on the guitar. I use a knitting board to knitt and I do know how to crochet. I keep a vegetable garden in the summer. I enjoy watching movies that make laugh, cry and think outside of the box. I enjoy solitude and try to find a quiet moment when I can.
