If we’re pen pals, you'll hear about the new thing I’m learning that week. Right now that’s Cherokee as I reconnect with my heritage, plus gardening and baking. I’m a PhD student researching tribal data sovereignty in higher education. Outside of academia, I’m led by curiosity. I’m drawn to stories of change: in horror literature asking difficult questions about love, family, and identity; the transformation of magical girls; or the quiet beauty of origami and kintsugi.
