If we’re pen pals, you'll probably hear about whatever I’m learning that week. Right now that’s Cherokee as I reconnect with my heritage, gardening, and baking. I’m a PhD student researching tribal data sovereignty in higher education. Outside of academia, curiosity leads me everywhere. I’m drawn to stories of change, whether in horror literature that asks difficult questions about love, family, and identity; magical girls; or the quiet beauty of origami and kintsugi.
