I'm quite shy, but I have an active inner life. I have a wide range of interests, including local history, the arts, countercultures, and strange stories. I write on these topics for magazines and make short documentaries. I like to go on day trips to see big rocks and such. I like to watch old movies, especially pre-Code and sci-fi. I have quite eclectic music tastes, including doom/sludge metal, UK82/hardcore, Anatolian rock, and easy listening. I try to stay active with my volunteering and activism, but the world is getting me down.
