If there is a book near me, I am almost certainly immersed in it! I am a reader. a letter-writer, a bit of an introvert until I get to know you. I grew up on the shores of a beautiful lake in Minnesota (USA) where I swam and swam and swam until I turned 15 and had to get a summer job. Bummer! I still return there every summer (1500 miles) just to immerse myself in that cold, clear water. I have travelled extensively, having gone all around the world in stages; we lived in the US, Australia, Britain, and then back to the US. I love to travel, though now it is mostly armchair!
