I am a carpenter. I have worked in the trades my whole adult life. I am trying to learn Spanish (I know a handful of words and phrases, mostly related to my work.) I like to run, rock climb, and mountain bike. I love music, although I don’t play any instrument very well. I also like to read, and my favorite authors include John Steinbeck, Candice Millard, and Leo Tolstoy. I love history, and one of my favorite historical figures is Sam Houston.
