Hi, I grew up in Connecticut in a Portuguese family. I enjoy cooking, traveling, swimming, hiking and learning more about the world. I recently went to Ireland and I went to the Azores almost every summer growing up. I work as an engineer and enjoy using Arduino chips to build gadgets as personal projects, hoping one of these small creations might someday become something bigger. From competing in college to completing open-water swims across the United States, swimming has always been a major part of my life.
