I'm a researcher based in the UK with a deep love of music, film, and literature — and an equal need to get outdoors and away from screens when I can. I play guitar to unwind and boulder. On the film side, I'm drawn to literary and atmospheric cinema — stuff with a strong sense of place and mood. Also anything Nathan Fielder has ever made. I read widely, with a soft spot for fiction that blurs into the strange or the ecological, or has a subversive wit. When I'm not buried in books or headphones, I like getting out into the countryside — walking, exploring landscapes, that kind of thing.
