I work in heritage and have a particular love of history, old buildings, museums and all the fascinating little stories hidden in the past. I volunteer at a WWI museum in Suffolk, which keeps me happily surrounded by old things! I’m also a creative person who loves illustration, linocutting, bookbinding, textiles and making things. I enjoy reading, galleries, travelling, films, vintage cars, folklore, exploring historic places and getting out with my dog. I also have a 3-legged tortoise. I have a dry sense of humour and love a good conversation!
