I'm a German living in Kyoto, with a background in art history and languages. I'm curious, thoughtful and rather introverted, and I love books, art, history and discovering other cultures. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, working in the garden and exploring the places around me, from historic sites to quiet corners in nature. Reading is a big part of my life, especially lit. and international fiction. I also enjoy museums, traditional arts and handicrafts, and would love to take up knitting again this winter. I appreciate meaningful conversations as much as the little details of everyday life.
