I’m a friendly outgoing person with a wide range of interests. I’ve been a Befriender for two years and for those who are unfamiliar with the word - it’s an organisation run by volunteers to connect with the lonely and elder people in our area. We go through a process of training and a police check to ensure only those who successfully pass, go on to engage with the communities lonely population.
