I'm generally friendly and I usually smile at strangers in the street. It always makes me happy to get at least a little smile back. I don't have a garden, I mostly read about gardening the same way I read cookery books without really cooking. My senior pug is called Matilda and my cat's name is Isadora... so Tilly and Izzy. I used to have pen pals when I was much younger, before the internet ... getting a letter in the mailbox is magical
