My hobbies include hiking, listening to new music, cooking, and reading history and philosophy. I lived in Utah for a long time, and used to spend my weekends exploring the desert in places like Arches, Escalante, and Zion. I have a decent 4x4 vehicle and take it on backcountry roads. My girlfriend and I moved to Oregon so that we could explore some new country.I studied music composition and trombone performance for my undergraduate degree, and studied philosophy for my master's.I now work as a software designer. It's not as interesting as school, but it pays the bills. :)
